摘要
光绪初年,新疆建省,东疆相继设有镇西直隶厅、哈密直隶厅和吐鲁番直隶厅,其后又在吐鲁番直隶厅下设鄯善县。民国时期,经多次行政区划调整,东疆分别形成了以吐鲁番和哈密为中心的多层级城市行政体系。东疆城市行政体系的构建促进了东疆城市经济文化的交流;逐渐清除了城市发展中的旧制度残余,有利于早期现代化的推进;对城市空间分布也产生了一定的影响。东疆城市的空间分布格局形成于清代,清早期城市空间以隔离为主,以满足因俗而治的需要,出现了双城或三城的结构。晚清民国以后,随着新疆建省,东疆各城市的空间形态和内部结构开始发生一定的变化,城市空间由隔离向融合转型。
In the early years of Guangxu,Xinjiang was converted into a province.Eastern Xinjiang successively set up the prefecture-level cities of Zhenxi,Hami and Turpan.Later,Shanshan County was established under Turpan Prefecture.During the period of the Republic of China,after a good deal of administrative reconstruction and division,a multi-level urban administrative system centered in Turpan and Hami started to be fostered in Eastern Xinjiang.The construction of the administrative system of the Eastern Xinjiang Cities promoted the economic and cultural exchange between cities within and outside the region,and stimulated the advancement of early modernization.It helped not only get rid of the old system gradually,but also exert a certain impact on the urban spatial distribution.The spatial distribution pattern of the Eastern Xinjiang cities was shaped in the Qing Dynasty.In the early Qing Dynasty,the urban space was mainly segregated to meet the needs for governing by custom,and resulted in the emerging structure of twin cities and triple cities.After the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,with the provincial construction of Xinjiang,the spatial form and internal structure of the cities in Eastern Xinjiang began to change,and the urban space was transformed from isolation to integration.
