摘要
唐传奇压卷之作《霍小玉传》中李霍爱情悲剧的原因,已属老生常谈,前人从多个角度进行了阐述。无论是党争攻击、门第制度、家庭压力等外部原因,还是从李益自身入手,将其在道德层面定义为"负心汉",或者考察其精神疾病,这些论点都有一定的道理,但是究其根源,李益的性格缺陷才是酿成李霍爱情悲剧的最主要原因。李益擅长逃避的性格使霍小玉一步步走向绝望,他的轻易许诺又使得霍小玉产生了不该有的奢望,最终酿成了二人的爱情悲剧。而李益的猜忌多疑才是其婚姻不幸的根源,而非霍小玉的"报复"导致的恶果。
Many scholars have discussed the causes of love tragedy in the "Romantic story of Huo Xiaoyu".Some of them thought that social hierarchy and family pressure were the main culprits.Some defined Li Yi as a ungrateful man and some thought he had mental illness.But of all these,the most fundamental reason was Li Yi's character flaws.Huo Xiaoyu was desperate because of Li Yi's evasive character.His character of easy promises made Huo Xiaoyu had an unwarranted extravagant expectation,which eventually led to their love tragedy.Li Yi's suspicion was the root of his unhappy marriage,not the evil result of Huo Xiaoyu's revenge.
