In April 2019, the trading of the interbank market maintained a steady growth and traded 105.9 trillion yuan, up 1.5% month-on-month, with an average daily trading worth of 4.81 trillion yuan. The money market liquidity maintained generally accommodative, with the interest rates going down slightly from last month. The bond yield curve moved upward as a whole;the long- and short-term credit spreads widened up, and the medium-term credit spreads narrowed down;the average daily trading volume of the cash bond market decreased slightly;the IRS prices went up significantly.
