摘要
方言是文学作品创作的重要手段,同时给文学翻译带来一定难度。Fillmore的场景——框架理论为方言词汇翻译提供了很好的视角。本文建立了《废都》方言词汇语料库并运用场景——框架理论分析了《废都》方言词汇的翻译,认为译者在翻译时应尽可能选择与源语激活认知框架一致的目的语语言表达式,充分考虑到概念框架元素和意象框架元素的一致性,从而为读者提供更生动的小说场景。
Dialects are the important means in the creation of literary works, and they also bring difficulties to literary translation. Scences-and-Frames theory, created by Charles J.Fillmore, provides a good perspective for the translation of dialects.The author in this paper established the corpus of dialects of The Ruined City from the perspective of Scences-and-Frames theory. It is considered that the translator should choose the target language which is consistent with the source language activation cognitive framework and fully consider the consistency of conceptual framework elements and image framework elements in order to provide readers with more vivid novel scenes.
