In daily life,“shoes”as a cultural symbol, not only has a practical function, but also to characterize and convey the corresponding cultural information. In ancient Chinese society, it has become a cultural symbol related to women (such as clothing, dowry, inner carrying, tokens, etc.), so it often appears in the portrayal of womencentered plot. In the novels of Tang Dynasty,“Lu”, as a literary image, is helpful to the“reappearance”ofWomen’s daily life by narrative discourse, and as a“functional image”, it is combined with the narrative structure of theme, character, plot and rhythm to become an organic component of female writing, and has certain universality.
