摘要
机对机(Machine-to-Machine,M2M)通信已成为物联网重要组成部分。使用M2M通信设备的快速增长和频谱资源的短缺给网络接入提出了挑战。为此,提出面向WiFi空闲频带的机会性MAC接入的M2M通信策略,记为WiFi-M2M。当WiFi网络无流量传输时,就允许M2M节点机会性接入信道。首先由接入点(Access Point,AP)通过发送修改的(Clear-to-Send,CTS)帧(m CTS),给M2M节点预留信道,当收到m CTS帧后,M2M节点就竞争接入信道,并依据AP所分配的数据时隙传输数据包。当M2M节点完成通信后,WiFi节点就重新占用信道。通过WiFi-M2M策略,提高了WiFi网络的信道利用率。
M2 M Communication is an integral part of the Internet-of-Things(Io T).The explosive growth in devices using an M2 M communication and the shortage of spectrum has made network access for such devices a challenging problem.Therefore,Opportunistic MAC Protocol for M2 M Communication in WiFi idle spectrum is proposed in this paper,which is marked as WiFi-M2 M.WiFi-M2 M allows an M2 M communication within white spaces(i.e.,periods without traffic)of WiFi networks.The AP reserves the channel for M2 M communication by sending a modified CTS(m CTS)frame.Receiving m CTS frame,M2 M nodes contend for the channel,and transmit its packet in sending slot.The WiFi nodes reuse channel after the completion of the M2 M communication cycle.The proposed protocol increases the effective utilization of the channel of WiFi networks.
