摘要
新马早期的华文教育,国内学者关注较少,国外学者的论述也不够全面。笔者利用新马华文报刊和其他资料,力图还原新马早期的华文教育情况。经过初步研究,笔者认为新马早期的华文教育受到三个因素的影响:早期传教士的介入;清政府驻新领事的努力;当地华人自主办学意识的兴起。本文将从这三个方面对早期华文教育做初步分析。
Chinese scholars and overseas scholars paid less attention to and less concerned the study of the early Chinese and cultural education of Singapore and Malaysia in the past years.Based on the analysis of the Chinese press in Singapore and Malaysia and other materials,it is found that the early Chinese and cultural education of Singapore and Malaysia was influenced by three factors:the intervention of early missionaries;the efforts of the consul of Qing government;and the rise of consciousness of local Chinese autonomous schools.This paper makes an elementary study on the early Chinese and cultural education from the three factors.
