摘要
本研究收集杨树种质资源保存圃和试验林中自然杂交种子及天然飞籽萌发的杨树实生苗进行播种育苗,选择出表现最为优良的无性系定名为长江杨。然后在监利县进行了长江杨与中监杨、中嘉杨等无性系的造林对比试验;在监利县、谷城县和夷陵区进行了长江杨的区域试验。通过长江杨的造林试验和区域试验表明:长江杨是优良的用材林树种,适宜在湖北省平原地区栽植而不适宜在山区和丘岗地区栽植。建议将长江杨作为速生丰产林的造林树种在湖北省平原地区进行推广应用。
We collected some seeds and seedlings from preservation nursery of poplar germplasm resources and experimental forest. Then we sowed and raised seedlings,and selected the best, which was named as ‘Yangtze poplar’.Then, a contrast experiment was conducted in Jianli County for clones including ‘Yangtze poplar’ and ‘Zhongjia poplar’,‘Zhongjian poplar’,etc. A regional trial of Yangtze poplar was carried out in Jianli County, Gucheng County and Yiling District. It was demonstrated that the ‘Yangtze poplar’ is an excellent timber tree species, suitable for planting in the plains of Hubei Province, but not suitable for planting in mountainous areas and hilly areas. It is suggested that the Yangtze poplar should be widely applied in the plains of Hubei province.
