摘要
宗白华建立了中国艺术和中国美学的独特的理论形式和思想体系,有意识地把中国美学和中国艺术论中的具体思想以及中国传统哲学观念中的生命意识,置于宇宙观和人生观大背景下,从而肯定了中国传统美学和艺术论的人文价值、世界意义和未来学意义。从"自足与超然"、"自然与艺术"、超越对立和"从无限回归有限"四个方面,可以发现宗白华借由艺术和人生意义的思考确证其人生的超然和觉悟,并进一步论证他从精神的超然和觉悟而返回人生,并生发出救众生于水火的正大宗旨、高尚思想和刚毅精神。可以说,宗白华美学思想在西方哲学和美学强势传入的历史情境中对当代美学和艺术学理论研究的重要价值和当代意义。
Zong Baihua establishes a unique set of theory of Chinese art and aesthetics, which consciously positioned aesthetics and the concrete ideas in art along with the idea of life consciousness in Chinese philosophy on the backdrop of the outlook on life and the world, thereby affirming the value of Chinese aesthetics at multiple levels of humanities, universal significance and futurology. This paper, by analyzing the “self-sufficiency versus transcendence”,“nature versus art”,“transcending the dichotomy” and “from infinity to the finite”, finds that Zong affirms the transcendence and enlightenment through the pondering of art and life, and it further argues that he returnes to worldly life after having achieved spiritual transcendence, calling for an active commitmentto serve the people. Zong Baihua’s aesthetic ideas are of great value and significance to the theoretical study of aesthetics and art, especially in the historical context dominated by western philosophies and aesthetics.
