Objective To explore the effect of transurethral plasmakinetic resection of prostate for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia complicated with chronic prostatitis. Methods 114 cases of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia complicated with chronic prostatitis admitted to our hospital from July 2015 to July 2018 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, with 57 cases in each group. The control group was treated with suprapubic transvesical prostatectomy, while the study group was treated with transurethral plasmakinetic resection of prostate. The surgical conditions, MFR (maximum urinary flow rate), and IPSS score were compared between the two groups. Results The intraoperative blood loss of the study group was significantly less than that of the control group, the operation time and hospitalization time were significantly shorter than those of the control group, and the MFR was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the IPSS score of the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusions Transurethral plasmakinetic resection of prostate for the treatment of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia complicated with chronic prostatitis has significant effect, which can relieve clinical symptoms, and improve the maximum urinary flow rate.
