摘要
生态女性主义认为人与自然、男人与女人都是和谐共存的。该文从生态女性主义文学批评角度对小说《了不起的盖茨比》中黛西的形象进行了重新解读,以此说明处于父权统治和工业化进程中的美国由于违背了人与自然和谐、两性和谐乃至自然万物和谐的规律,必然出现诸多如黛西一般的女性悲剧人物。旨在还原女性在自然与社会中应有的身份与角色,并指出新女性想要冲破时代封印、男权枷锁必得重建人与自然、男性与女性的平等关系,同时以此唤醒人类的生态意识,从而缔造万物和谐的美好世界。
Ecofeminism theory believes that man and nature,men and women all coexist harmoniously.From the perspective of ecofeminist literary criticism,the thesis attempts to make a new interpretation of the image of Daisy in The Great Gatsby in order to demonstrate that it is necessary for so many tragic female images like Daisy to appear in the American society.Because affected by the patriarchal domination and industrialized process,the American society violates the rules of the harmony of the human and nature as well as men and women.The paper aims to bring back the real status and role of feminists in the nature and human’s society.And only through re-building an equal relationship between human and nature as well as men and women,can new women break the restriction of era and patriarchy.Meanwhile,the essay intends to arouse human beings’awareness of ecology to create a peaceful and equal world.
