摘要
本文旨在探讨保定方言表示两个顺序事件的时间标记前置介词"投"。普通话的"X+前(之前)"中的"前"是后置介词,然而,在保定方言的对应形式则使用前置介词"t^ho^(22)投+X"。本文考察保定方言"投+X"的体貌特点、语义特征、句法制约及其辖域(scope)。我们认为保定方言的"投"是前置介词。最后,我们讨论从古代汉语到现代汉语以来"投"的来源以及历时演变过程,并假设:"投"经历了从"投掷"义动词到"到达"义动词,再到表示"直到"的前置介词,最后到表示"之前"的前置介词这一系列语义重新分析和语法化的过程。
This article studies the function word tou(投[t^ho^22],BEFORE)which marks the temporal relation of two sequential events in the Baoding dialect.In contrast with the temporal postposition zhiqian(之前)in Standard Mandarin tou(投)is employed in the Baoding dialect for a similar temporal function.By examining the semantic features of the elements following tou,and the aspectual features of the tou phrase,as well as its syntactic constraints and scope,it is proposed that tou should be treated as a preposition.The path of the evolution of tou from Ancient Chinese to Modern Chinese is also suggested at the end of the article.
