芷江和平文化的形成是有其深刻的思想文化基础和社会历史背景的:中华"和"文化的精神内核是芷江和平文化形成的思想基础;兼容并包的多元宗教文化是芷江和平文化形成的影响因子;约定俗成的乡规民俗是芷江和平文化形成的内在机理机制;抗战胜利落尘芷江的史实是芷江和平文化形成的历史印证,构建社会主义和谐社会的理念是芷江和平文化形成的现实引领。
