摘要
功能几何框架理论包含几何规则和超几何规则两类信息,并且特别强调超几何规则在空间语言理解和产出中的关键作用,是空间语言认知领域最新的研究成果。所谓的"超几何规则"包括动态—运动规则和情境知识,它与几何规则相结合,共同影响着空间语言的理解与产出。研究表明,注意资源的分配在整合几何及超几何信息的过程中起到了促进作用,人们可能会将自己的大部分注意资源分配在视觉场景中物体能够实现其功能的区域。未来的研究可以从功能几何框架中超几何规则的具体类型对几何和超几何规则各自影响程度的衡量标准等方面做进一步探索。同时,这一理论也为跨语言对比及第二语言习得研究提供了新的视角和思路。
The functional geometric framework,which is the latest discovery in the field of spatial language cognition,contains two types of information,that is,geometric routines and extra-geometric routines.It extremely highlights the key role of the latter one in understanding and producing spatial language.The so-called“extra-geometric routines”which include dynamic-kinematic routines and the knowledge of object and situation,combine with geometric routines to influence the understanding and producing of spatial language.Much research has demonstrated that the allocation of human’s attention resources plays a role in promoting the integration of geometric and extra-geometric information,and people may allocate most of their attention resources to areas in a visual scene where objects can implement their functions.In the future,we could explore further in depth the following questions.For example,if there are more specific extrageometric variables,how to measure the degree of influence of geometric and extra-geometric routines respectively.This theory also provides us with a new perspective on cross-linguistic comparison and second language acquisition.
