摘要
[目的/意义]研究前沿探测是科学计量学的重要研究领域,引文分析作为进行研究前沿探测的常用方法对于识别研究前沿具有重要的作用。利用同一组高被引文献对研究前沿探测中常用的耦合分析与共被引分析两种方法进行比较研究。[方法/过程]首先,提取一组新近的高被引文献作为核心文献。然后,通过核心文献与其被引文献进行耦合分析,通过核心文献及其施引文献进行共被引分析,进而分别构建研究前沿领域。最后,通过研究前沿探测中的新颖性、成长性、潜力值三个特征,对两种方法的研究前沿探测结果进行分析。[结果/结论]通过对科学计量学领域的研究前沿特征的分析,共被引分析能够获得更新、更具潜力的研究前沿,而耦合分析则能够获得相对较为成熟的成长性较高的研究前沿。
[Purpose/Significance]Research front detection is an important research field in scientometrics.Citation analysis,as a common method for research front detection,plays an important role in the identification of research front.The purpose of this paper is to conduct a comparative study of bibliographic coupling and co-citation analysis used in the research front detection based on the same group of highly cited papers.[Method/Process]First,a group of recent highly cited papers were extracted as core papers.Then,first the bibliographic coupling analysis,then the co-citation analysis was conducted of the core papers and their citing literature,and then the research front fields were constructed respectively according to the two methods.Finally,the research front detection results of the two methods were analyzed by studying the three characteristics of novelty,progressiveness and potential in research front detection.[Result/Conclusion]The analysis of the characteristics of research front in the field of scientometrics shows that co-citation analysis can detect research fronts that are newer and have higher potential,while bibliographic coupling analysis is effective in detecting research fronts with higher growth that are comparatively more mature.
