摘要
CET-4段落翻译题型较之原来的补全句子式翻译能更客观更全面地考核应用型本科大学生的英语综合应用能力,但同时也给应用型本科院校师生提出了新的挑战。本文归纳了段落翻译应该遵循的步骤和和采取的方法,然后结合段落"红包"的翻译来探讨应用型本科院校CET-4段落翻译教学策略,最后总结了段落翻译应该课堂讲授与课后阅读、练习、自主学习相结合。
CET-4 paragraph translation,compared with sentence completion translation,can be used to check college students'comprehension and application ability more objectively and more comprehensively,but it poses a new challenge to teachers and students in applied undergraduate colleges.The paper summarizes the steps that should be followed and methods that can be applied in paragraph translation.Then the paper,taking paragraph"Hong-bao"as an example,discusses CET-4 paragraph translation teaching strategies.Finally,the paper concludes that paragraph translation should be combined with classroom teaching,reading after class and self-study.
