Objective To analyze the effect of locking compression plate combined with technology of minimally invasive percutaneous plate fixation with interlocking intramedullary nail for the treatment of tibial middle period of fractures in elderly patients. Methods A total of 60 patients with middle and lower tibia fractures treated in our hospital from January 2016 to February 2018 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with locking compression plate combined with minimally invasive percutaneous plate fixation. The control group was treated with interlocking intramedullary nails. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared. Results The operation time, the off bed activity time, and fracture healing time in the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).The rate of excellent treatment in the observation group was 93.33%,compared with 76.67%in the control group slightly tall, there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of locking compression plate combined with minimally invasive percutaneous plate fixation for the treatment of patients with fractures of the middle and lower tibia is obviously effective,it can improve various symptoms of patients, accelerate the healing of fractures, and effectively restore the functions of knee and ankle joints.
