摘要
目的:研究弱激光治疗在减轻正畸导致疼痛的临床效果。方法:120名初次佩戴正畸弓丝的正畸患者随机等分为弱激光治疗(LLLT)组、安慰剂组和对照组(n=40)。LLLT组患者在佩戴正畸弓丝后即刻给予每颗牙齿颊、舌侧激光照射;安慰剂组仅将激光光纤放置在患者正畸牙齿颊、舌侧但不予激光照射;对照组患者不做任何处理。在佩戴弓丝的第1周内,对每名患者进行问卷调查,记录每一天的正畸疼痛情况。结果:LLLT组患者疼痛开始时间以及最疼痛的发生时间与其他两组没有区别(P> 0. 05),但是疼痛消失时间早于其他两组(P <0. 05);并且在正畸弓丝带入第1周内各时间点,LLLT组的正畸疼痛分值最低(P <0. 05),最疼痛时的疼痛程度也最低(P <0. 05); LLLT组患者对治疗的满意度高于其他两组(P <0. 05)。结论:弱激光治疗可减轻患者初次佩戴正畸弓丝所导致的疼痛,并缩短疼痛时程。
Objective:To evaluate the effect of low-level laser therapy(LLLT)for the control of pain caused by orthodontic treatment.Methods:120 orthodontic patients with the first orthodontic appliance placement in the maxillary arch were recruited and were randomly assigned to 3 groups(n=40).LLLT was exposed to each tooth on the buccal or lingual side immediately after fixing the orthodontic appliance(LLLT group).In the placebo group the laser fiber was positioned into the mouth at the same areas overlying the dental root without irradiation.In the control group no laser intervention was used.All patients received a survey for describing their pain within the first week after the orthodontic treatment.Results:LLLT did not affect the start of pain perception(P>0.05)or alter the most painful day(P>0.05).However,LLLT significantly decreased the pain sooner(P<0.05).LLLT group showed lower pain score on each day within the observation period(P<0.05)and on the most painful day(P<0.05).In addition,the patients showed better satisfaction in LLLT group compared with the other groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:LLLT can efficiently reduce the pain and shorten the pain span caused by orthodontic treatment.
