埃及阿布吉拉迪盆地AESW区块上白垩统碎屑岩沉积相及储层特征

Sedimentary facies and reservoir characteristics of the Upper Cretaceous clastic rocks in the AESW Block,Abu Gharadig Basin,Egypt

摘要 埃及阿布吉拉迪盆地白垩系碎屑岩储层发育,具备良好的油气勘探开发前景。以Alam El Shawish West区块(简称为AESW区块)上白垩统Abu Roash组G段(简称为AR-G段)为例,在岩心、铸体薄片、扫描电镜、X射线衍射、压汞实验、物性分析、地化分析及测井资料等研究基础上,对碎屑岩沉积微相及储层特征进行了研究,并对影响储层发育及分布的重要控制因素进行了分析。结果表明:(1)AESW区块AR-G段碎屑岩主要为潮坪沉积,发育潮间带、潮下带亚相及多种微相。(2)砂岩类型以石英砂岩及长石质石英砂岩为主,颗粒分选性及磨圆度较好,成分及结构成熟度较高。(3)储集空间包括剩余原生粒间孔、次生的粒间及粒内溶孔等,依据压汞曲线形态及孔喉半径分布等特征,将砂岩储层分为3类,分别对应于粗-中喉道、中-细喉道及微喉道。(4)储层主要为中孔中渗型,次为中孔低渗型,孔渗相关性较好,储层整体上以孔隙型为主。(5)储层发育及分布受沉积微相及成岩作用等多种因素控制。其中潮下带水下砂坝及潮汐水道砂体物性较好,为区内有利的储层发育微相类型。溶蚀作用能够形成次生储集空间,极大地改善了储层物性条件,最终形成潮坪相砂岩储层。 Cretaceous clastic rock reservoirs with good petroleum exploration and development prospect are well developed in the Abu Gharadig Basin of Egypt.Based on the study of cores,casting thin sections,scanning electron microscope,X-ray diffraction,mercury injection experiment,physical property analysis,geochemical analysis and well logging data,the microfacies,reservoir characteristics,main controlling factors of reservoir development and distribution of clastic rocks in the Upper Cretaceous Abu Roash Formation“G”(AR-G)Member in the Alam El Shawish West(AESW)Block are analyzed.It shows that clastic rocks were deposited in tidal flat environment,including intertidal zone,subtidal zone subfacies as well as multiple microfacies.“G”Member sandstones are dominated by quartz sandstones and feldspathic quartz sandstones with moderate to good sorting and high compositional and textural maturities.Residual intergranular pores,intergranular and intragranular dissolved pores serve as the important reservoir space.Based on the mercury injection curves and throat radius,the reservoirs can be divided into three types corresponding respectively to coarse to medium throat structure,medium to fine throat structure,and micro throat structure.Physical property analysis and good correlation between porosity and permeability reveal that the reservoir is basically a pore type one composed of mainly medium porosity&medium permeability type with minor medium porosity&low permeability type.The development and distribution of reservoirs are obviously controlled by sedimentary microfacies and diagenesis.Underwater bars and distributary channels are favorable microfacies for reservoir development due to their good physical properties.Secondary dissolved pores resulted from dissolutions greatly improve the physical properties and lead to the formation of AR-G Member tidal reservoirs in the AESW Block,Abu Gharadig Basin.
