摘要
自由主义和社群主义之争一直是政治哲学领域的热门话题,美国政治学家、哲学家艾米·古德曼将社群主义对自由主义的批判分为20世纪60年代和20世纪80年代两个阶段,并对后者进行了阐释和批判。后者批判了自由主义的基础性错误,指出了其存在的历史学和语境论方面的问题,这些批判虽然存在对自由主义的误解及其自身的局限性,但仍有着构建的潜力,可以帮助我们实现一个由基本的自由主义价值构建的共同体政治,并且通过创造新制度来培养公共价值。
The controversy between liberalism and communitarianism has always been a hot topic in the field of political philosophy.Amy Gutmann,the American political scientist and philosopher,divided the communitarian critics of liberalism into two groups:the critics in the 1960s and those in the 1980s.She explained and criticized the critics in the 1980s,who pointed out the basic mistakes of liberalism and pointed out its historical and contextual problems.Although these critics have misunderstood liberalism and have its own limitations,their views still have constructive potential which can help us achieve a community politics built from basic liberal values and bring about public values by creating new institutions.
