摘要
美学作为一门现代学科在中国得以成立,与近代以来中国大学中美学课程的设置具有密切关系。清朝末年出台的《奏定大学堂章程》规定,工科建筑学专业须开设美学课。这是美学进入中国大学课程体系之始。这一设置是对于日本大学制度的模仿。《奏定大学堂章程》中,文科各专业并未设置美学课,这反映出设计者对美学的性质与意义还缺乏了解。民国成立以后,当时的教育部门规定大学文科哲学、文学专业均须开设美学课。在教育部门的规定指导下,北京大学等综合性大学的文科专业纷纷设置了美学课,部分师范学校、美术专科学校也设置了美学课,美学逐渐成为中国大学课程体系中不可缺少的一环。美学课的设置提高了美学的地位,刺激了美学知识的生产与传播,有力推动了现代中国美学学科的形成。
As a modern discipline,aesthetics had been established in China in early modern times,which was closely related to the setting of aesthetics courses in Chinese universities.In the late Qing dynasty,The Rules of University Approved by the Emperor stipulated that engineering architecture major should offer an aesthetics course,which was the introduction of aesthetics into the curriculum system of Chinese universities.This setting is based on the imitation of the Japanese university institution.In the constitution of The Rules of University Approved by the Emperor,there were no requirement for liberal arts majors to offer aesthetics courses,which reflected the designer s lack of understanding of the nature and meaning of aesthetics.After the founding of the Republic of China,the Ministry of Education stipulated that such liberal arts majors including philosophy and literature should offer aesthetics courses.Under the guidance of the Ministry of Education,the liberal arts majors of Peking University and other comprehensive universities set up aesthetics courses one after another.Some normal schools and art schools also offered aesthetics courses.Aesthetics gradually became an indispensable part of Chinese university curriculum system.The setting of aesthetics courses has enhanced the position of aesthetics,stimulated the production and dissemination of esthetics knowledge,and strongly promoted the formation of modern Chinese aesthetics discipline.
