Zhu Sheng's Learning and the Transformation of Neo-Confucianism in the Late Yuan Dynasty

摘要 朱升既是元明之际朱元璋政权的辅翼之臣,亦对程朱理学在元末明初的传播与发展有羽翼之功。他的为学历程颇为曲折,却彰显出元代各地学术的交融互动,宣示元末新安理学的转变趋向。朱升早年学于新安诸儒,承继了元代"纂释"程朱经典的学术传统。中年以后,他积极访学江西等地名儒,在教学研习中反思元末新安理学之弊,最终弃"纂释"而入"旁注",形成其会通自得的学问特色,对元末新安理学的发展进行有益的补充。朱升的为学经历与学问转变,正体现了元末新安学术从羽翼程朱到体认圣学的重要转向。 Zhu Sheng was not only a counsellor of the Zhu Yuan-zhang regime in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasty,but also has had a great contribution to the development of Neo-Confucianism in this period.His learning experience,which was tortuous,shows the interaction of academic circles in the Yuan Dynasty and the changing trend of Neo-Confucianism in the late Yuan Dynasty.Zhu was taught by Xin’an scholars to learn Confucian-classics and thus inherited the method named“Zuanshi”to improve the Cheng and Zhu’s Classics in his early years.In middle age,Zhu began to visit famous scholars in Jiangxi province and rethink the disadvantages of the Xin’an Neo-Confucian School in the late Yuan Dynasty,as well as rebuilt his own research characteristics by adding notes besides the classics and combining different understanding of classics.The course of Zhu Sheng’s learning and his change revealed the important turning of Xin’an scholars returning into the learning of sage in the late Yuan Dynasty.
