摘要
近年来,中外合作办学在我国发展迅速,其办学层次和质量也在不断提高。尤其是在珠三角地区,集中了多所独立法人形式的合作办学机构,比如,深圳北理莫斯科大学和中山大学-卡内基梅隆大学联合工程学院等。他们除了引进国际的优质教育资源外,还采取了混合式的办学模式,积极引进国内的优质教育资源。合作办学为什么能够在珠三角地区得到快速发展?从珠三角地区的经济基础和高等教育规模两个视角展开分析,可以阐释珠三角地区引进合作办学的必要性和迫切性。
With the support of state policies,the economy of the Pearl River Delta has been developing rapidly,and the industrial structure is changing from the primary industry to the second and tertiary industries.The change of the economic form means the reconfiguration of the talent structure.The introduction of talents is only an expedient plan.It has to start from the“source”of talent needs in the long run.That is,the talent cultivation and the local economic development interact positively through higher education,thus providing a strong guarantee of talents for local economic development.However,the current level of higher education in the Pearl River Delta and the uneven distribution of higher education resources in the region are serious.Higher education cannot keep up with the speed of economic development,which will lead to the structural fault of both the supply and demand of talents.The lag of the development of higher education has caused certain resistance to the sustainable development of the economy.In order to break through the bottleneck of higher education,it is necessary to put higher education into new trails.It means higher education resources at home and abroad are introduced and it will make up for the lack of higher education.The way of introduction is mainly manifested in the form of cooperation between foreign and domestic educational institutions.Among them,Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools is a typical mode of cooperation between local universities and foreign institutions.In recent years,Chinese foreign cooperation in running schools has been developing rapidly in China,and its educational service level and quality are also improving.Especially in the Pearl River Delta region,there are many independent legal entities,such as the Moscow State University in Shenzhen,the Zhongshan University-the Carnegie Mellon University,and so on.These schools generally have high proportion of overseas teachers,English as the main teaching language,the adoption of teaching materials and teaching
