摘要
楚雄师范学院作为一所建立在边疆少数民族地区的地方院校,在新的历史时期,以教育部审核评估为契机,主动适应国家高等教育改革的新要求,按照"应用为根本,师范为特色"的办学思想,明晰定位目标,通过大力推进向应用型转变,积极探索乡村教师培养新模式,扩大服务面向,为边疆民族地区基层一线培养"下得去、留得住、用得上、有作为"的乡土人才,支持和服务当地的地方经济建设和社会事业发展取得了明显成效,并顺利通过教育部本科教学工作审核评估,当前全校师生在建设"以教师教育为特色的边疆民族地方应用型品牌大学"的道路上信心坚定,昂扬奋进。
As a university situated in the southwest frontier area inhabited by multiple minority ethnic groups,Chuxiong Normal University(CNU)should,at this new historical era,seize the opportunity of the Assessment of the Ministry of Education(MOE)to boost its development,which CNU did effectively by taking the initiative to adapt to the new requirements of education reform of the State,adopting the guideline of developing students“ready for application orientation while capable of teaching tasks”to position its objectives,transforming itself to a application-oriented university,and exploring new modes of developing rural teachers to give the grassroots schools in this area competent teachers willing to stay and committed to personal achievement.Due to such insight and the measures accordingly taken,CNU has made great contributions to local economic progress and social endeavors and,consequently,has successfully passed the MOE Assessment.Determined to fulfill the objective of building a“brand-name,application-oriented university with competitive edge in raising teachers capable of teaching tasks in the frontier areas inhabited by minority ethnic groups”,both the faculty and the students have been striving forward.
