摘要
运用文献资料等方法对民国时期绅商对近代体育发展的历史贡献进行探究。研究发现:民国绅商通过创办中国体操学校和新式学堂,促进近代学校体育的发展;由绅商创建的体育会是我国近代最早的民间体育组织之一,推动了我国近代社会体育的开展;绅商还积极开展竞技运动,促成了旧中国第1届全运会;通过创办武术类社团、投资兴建体育场地、出版体育类刊物等方式推动体育各领域的发展,为近代体育的发展做出了重要贡献。
This paper explored the historical contributions of gentry merchants to the development of modern sports in the Republic of China through many methods include literature review and so on.The research indicates that gentry merchants had promoted the development of modern society sports through the establishment of Chinese gymnastic schools and new academies.The sports society created by gentry merchants was one of the earliest folk sports organizations in modern China and promoted the development of modern social sports.In addition,gentry merchants actively carried out competitive sports,and contributed to the first national games in old China.Through ways include the establishment of martial arts associations,investment in sports venues,the publishing of sports publications,they promoted the development of sports in various fields and made important contributions to the development of modern sports.
