Objective:To investigate the effect of inhalation of hypertonic saline and salbutamol aerosol inhalation on inflammatory stress response in children with bronchiolitis.Methods:92 children with bronchiolitis treated in the hospital between April 2015 and May 2017 were divided into control group(n=46)and study group(n=46)by random number table.Control group were treated with saline+salbutamol aerosol inhalation, and study group were treated with hypertonic saline+salbutamol aerosol inhalation. The differences in serum contents of inflammatory mediators and oxidative stress indexes were compared between the two groups at different points in time. Results:There was no statistically significant difference in the serum contents of inflammatory mediators and oxidative stress indexes between the two groups at T0.At T1 and T2,serum inflammatory mediators IL 4,IL 6,IL 8 and hs CRP contents of study group were lower than those of control group;serum oxidative stress indexes AOPPs,LHP and MDA contents were lower than those of control group whereas CAT and SOD contents were higher than those of control group. Conclusion:Hypertonic saline+salbutamol aerosol inhalation can be more effective in inhibiting systemic inflammatory response and oxidative stress response and relieving the illness in children with bronchiolitis.
