摘要
笔者以山西医科大学使用英语学习类手机APP的885名在校本科生为研究对象样本,覆盖各年级与各专业,采用交叉分析法、统计分析法,从学生的学习目的、习惯、偏好等多个角度,分析了英语学习类手机APP的使用现状,得出如下结论:在设计软件时,必须以突出重点功能为主,其他附加功能为辅,扩大功能覆盖面,改变单一学习模式。从男生和女生的不同视角指出现有英语学习类手机APP存在功能不完善、费流量、不能离线使用等问题,提出可通过提高软件运行速度、减少广告植入、添加离线下载功能、提供更多免费学习信息等方面改进APP,以提高学生使用APP的专注度。该研究可为学生选择APP以及为软件开发商完善软件功能提供参考,实现移动设备与英语学习的统一。
Taking885undergraduates in Shanxi Medical University who use mobile phone APP for English study as the research object,this paper analyzes the learning target,habit,preference and problem of students when they use mobile phone APP to learn English.The results show that when designing software,it is necessary to focus on key functions and expand function coverage,so as to change the single learning mode.It points out the problems of mobile phone APP for English study from the perspectives of boys and girls,and puts forward some suggestions,such as improving softw are running speed,reducing advertising,adding offline dow nload function and providing more free learning information.The study could provide reference for softw are developers to improve the function of the software.In addition,it could give reference for students to choose APP and realize the unification of mobile device and English learning.
