摘要
语料库驱动视角下的动词配价描写体系把型式语法和配价语法进行有机结合,既保留了型式语法中具体的词与词性,又增加了配价语法的句法功能。在这一语法体系下,词汇与语法一体化的语言特性得以合理阐释。本研究采用语料库驱动的动词配价结构描写体系,对英国国家语料库中动词APPOINT在主动句、被动句以及其他句式中的配价结构进行描写。利用语料库语言学中的搭配及语义序列分析手段对该词的主语、宾语、补足语等支配成分进行分析,研究结果对于大学英语词汇教学具有一定的启示作用。
The corpus-based descriptive system of valency pattern is a combination of pattern grammar and valence grammar, which not only preserves the categories of word form and part of speech in pattern grammar, but also adopts the syntactic function of valence grammar. Therefore it interprets the language characteristic of the lexical and grammatical integration more clearly. The present study applies the corpus-based descriptive system of valency pattern to describe the verb APPOINT in BNC in active sentences, passive sentences and others. And this paper also analyses subject, object, complement and other constituents of the verb APPOINT with the methods of collocation and semantic sequence. The results can facilitate the teaching of college English vocabulary.
