摘要
林纾以西洋文学启蒙者的角色带给近代清新之风,深受如严复、高氏三兄弟甚至后来的周氏兄弟、胡适、冰心等大家喜爱。然而,自辛亥革命后,林纾越来越落伍,甚至面目模糊以致可恶起来,追溯根源,不能不条分缕析林纾的思想与心态,而其中复杂的民国遗民心态是林纾变化的重要因素之一。
Lin Shu,playing his role as a western modern literary initiator,brought something fresh to contemporary Chinese literature thus was admired by many writers such as Yan Fu,the three brothers of Gao even the Chow brothers,Hu Shi and Bing Xin.However,Lin shu's thought was regarded as anachronism and even fuzzy which aroused detestation in literary circles.It is believed that his complex mentality of adherents of the republic of China is one of the important factors to his changes after the profound analysis on his thought and mentality.
