摘要
王阳明之前的理学家们将《中庸》之未发说与"未发之中"简单地等同,而他却自觉到常人未发之不中的可能。通过分析未发之不中存在的条件与原因,指出王阳明在此问题上的立言宗旨,这便是王阳明看似矛盾理论的原因。常人未发之不中的可能性只作为教化世人的权说被阐发,阳明本质上仍主张未发之中与《中庸》未发说在内容上的一致性。但不可否认的是,在常人那里确实存在未发之不中的情况,这决定了未发之中概念在使用时的局限性。
The new Confucians before Wang Yangming simply equated the theory of Wei Fa in The Doctrine of the Mean with the theory of“Wei Fa Zhi Zhong”(“Wei Fa Zhi Zhong”means that it will be appropriate if one's love,anger,sadness and happiness are not revealed).However,he consciously realized the possibility of the other side existing in ordinary persons.This paper,by analyzing the conditions and reasons in the opposite of“Wei Fa Zhi Zhong”,attempts to explain the purpose of his writing,which is the reason for Wang Yangming's seemingly contradictory theory.The possibility of the other side existing in ordinary persons can only be explained as the eclectic theory of educating the people in the world,while he still considers that the theory of“Wei Fa Zhi Zhong”is the same as the theory of Wei Fa in The Doctrine of the Mean in nature.But it is undeniable that the possibility of the other side of the theory of“Wei Fa Zhi Zhong”does exist in ordinary persons,which results in the limitations when the concept of“Wei Fa Zhi Zhong”is being used.
