摘要
Nuclear physics interacts with astrophysics, which not only expands its research space but also promotes the development of fundamental physics. Much attention has been paid to the equation of state (EOS) of isospin asymmetric nuclear matter as the development of radioactive beam facilities and astronomical observation facilities. The symmetry energy that measures the isospin-dependence of the EOS is a quantity of critical importance due to its many-sided roles. However, its density dependence remains a great challenge because of the incomplete knowledge of the nuclear force and the complexity of many-body systems. Many important issues in nuclear astrophysics urgently require accurate knowledge about it at present.
