摘要
孙中山历来重视教育,重视人才的培养。1924年2月,孙中山命令将国立广东高等师范、广东法科大学、广东农业专门学校合并成立国立广东大学。孙中山在各个方面关心国立广东大学的发展,尤其关注国立广东大学的办学经费问题,通过建立专门机构、委派富有筹款经验的人员,争取庚子退款,要求广东革命政府控制区域各县协款,制定《国立广东大学劝捐章程》,以及移拨部分固定及临时税捐充作国立广东大学经费等措施,为国立广东大学筹措经费。正是由于孙中山的关注,国立广东大学较同期广州其他学校具有了相对充裕的资金保证,为其日后的发展奠定了重要的经济基础。
Sun Yat-sen attached great importance to education and talent training in his life. In February 1924, he ordered three colleges merged as National Canton University. Sun Yat-sen was always concerned about it in all respects, especially in raising funds. Because of his concern, National Canton University has developed quickly in contrast with other universities.
