摘要
紧凑城市的核心思想是土地集约混合利用、高密度开发和改善交通。其被誉为能够限制城市无节制蔓延,减缓能源大量消耗和气候变化带来的冲击。本研究对紧凑城市的认识误区、核心思想等方面进行了详细论述,从可持续性、城市交通、城市密度和生活质量四个方面完整介绍了西方国家对紧凑城市理念的研究,并对日本、英国、美国的紧凑城市规划实践案例进行了评述。最后提出中国城市应以更精明的土地增长方式推进城市规划与建设,实施切实有效的公共交通规划和政策,全面推行邻里与社区的发展规划。
The core idea of compact city is: mixed land use, high density development and public traffic. The compact city can prevent the uncontrolled spread of the city and slow down the energy consumption and the impact of climate change. This study gives a detailed discussion of the core idea of compact city. The research introduces the concept of compact city in western countries from four aspects of sustainability, urban transportation, urban density and quality of life. And makes a commentary on the cases of compact cities in Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. At last,threw out a suggestion that Chinese cities should promote urban planning and construction in a more sophisticated way, launch effective public transport policy and carry out the planning of the neighborhood and the community.
