摘要
该文首先分析了图像信息的特点,接着介绍了预测编码、变换编码、信息熵编码、帧间预测与运动补偿等图像压缩技术,描述了现已在各类视频产品中得到广泛应用的视频编码标准,如H.261建议、JPEG标准、MPEG标准、H.263建议。并对上述各种图像压缩编码技术和标准进行了性能比较。文中还对影响图像传输质量的因素进行了探讨。并提出了如何选择合适的视频压缩编码标准的思路。
Firstly,the paper analyzes the image information features. Then it introduces compression and coding techniques such as prediction coding,transform coding,information entropy coding,interframe prediction and motion compensation, etc.And it narrates many video coding standards, such as H.261,JPEG,MPEG,H.263 which are already used widely in today's video products. The image compression and coding techniques and standards mentioned above are compared.Various kinds of technique affecting the image transmission quality are discussed too. The way by which to choose the suitable video compression coding standard is put forward.
