Reliability engineering has very important meaning whether in aerospace technology or in military equipments and general industrial products.The main cause is that it has inestimable economic and social benefits.This paper simply introduces the definition and explanation of the reliability index,and that the situation of application design and test restarch of reliability in crane and metallurgical motor and explosion proof motor of China.
