Based on the stereoscopic model,the criterion of activity in quiescence and the index of high peak,the spatial prediction of the great earthquake(M S=8.1)in the west of the Kunlun Mountain Pass in 2001 has been discussed.Temporal prediction of the great earthquake has been studied by means of the periodicity of 74 years,the triplet method and the regularity of multiplied nine days.The regularity of multiplied nine days includes the temporal characteristics of the thermal infrared anomaly,the earthquake activity of earthquake(M S=6)and the magnetic storm(K=8)before the great earthquake's occurrence.
