摘要
综合研究中国狭颊寄蝇属 73种的鉴别方法、分布、寄主种类 ;研究并发现一些种类的变异特点 ,♀、♂异型等现象 ;文中附有 73种的检索表及特征图 ,15个新种的描述 ;订正了 5种为新异名。重建了狭颊寄蝇属的分类系统。
This study treats all of the known Chinese species of the genus Carcelia R. D. A total of 73 species are presently recognized, among them 15 new species new and 2 that are newly reported from this country. All taxa are keyed and briefly diagnosed. The type species are kept in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Based on examinations of a large number of type and non type specimens, we found that Chinese species of Carcelia R. D. frequently show some inter or infra specific variations in body chaetotaxy. In some cases sexual dimorphism is also evident. For example, the ventral seta of mid tibia are absent in the male of C.rondaniella , but present in the female. In C.caudata, most specimens had 1 2 posterodoral setulae on hind coxa, but these were absent in a few of individuals(5 7%). Meanwhile, ocellar bristles in C.caudata and C.octava; and median discal bristles on 3rd and 4th abdominal tergites in C.dubia, C.lucorlum, C.hirtspila, C.vilicauda, C.clava, C.tibialis and C.latistylata are also strongly varied. In view of these observations it is clear that the presence or absence or developmental state of these setulae and bristles are unreliable specific or even subgeneric characters. As a result of study of these variations we divide the genus Carcelia R. D. into two subgenera: Senometopia Macquart and Carcelia (s. str.), the former is characterized by having bare hind coxae and the latter by having 1 2 setulae on the posterodorsal surface of the hind coxae.1 Carcelia (Senometopia) xishuangbannanica sp. nov. (Fig.59) ♂ Frons a little narrower than 1/2 eye width, ocellar bristle a little longer than upper reclinate orbital bristle, basal two segment of anntena and basicosta yellow, thorax black, with yellow stripes along its lateral and posterior sides, scutum with four pairs of postsutural dc bristles, scutellum entirely yellow, postpronotum with three basal setae in a more or less straight line.
