摘要
英语口语测试对于交际测试来说极为重要。计算机辅助英语口语测试也逐渐引起各方关注。然而,当前的许多计算机辅助英语口语测试由于没有注重口语中的话轮转换机制而使这些测试的效度受到置疑。本文着重分析话轮转换机制在计算机辅助口语测试中的重要性,并提出一种新的重视话轮转换机制的机辅口语测试。新的机辅口语测试采用效度较高的多方交谈和讨论的题型,并采用多声道录音技术。新的机辅口语测试将会对语言测试、语言教学、话语分析研究都带来极大的好处。
Oral English test has been highly valued for the validity of the communicative tests. Computer-assisted oral English tests have overcome some of the insufficiency in the direct oral English tests. However,current computer-assisted oral English tests are still weak in achieving the goal of validity of the language tests for they fail to take turn-taking mechanism into consideration.A new computer-assisted oral English test is designed,and it will contribute to the validity of the language tests for it introduces the multi-party communication,which makes the turn-takings in the oral tests close to the natural dialogues.The other critical difference is that each of the testees has his own recording channel in the new test.This facilitates the future research on discourse analysis and thus in turn makes the oral test more valid or easier in marking.
