摘要
学习者的语言学习观念在语言学习中起着重要作用。鉴于此,本文基于元认知理论,采用 Horwitz的语言学习观念调查表,对华中科技大学非英语专业168名大一新生进行了问卷调查,并对调查结果进行了分析.本次调查旨在了解新生的语言学习观念,帮助其树立正确有益的观念,从而最终提高学生外语水平。
In view of the acknowledgement that learners'beliefs about language learning play a significant role in their language acquisition,this paper,based on Metacognition,investigates 168 non-English-major freshmen's beliefs about language learning with a questionnaire adopted from Horwitz's Beliefs About Language Learning Inventory(BALLI).The analysis is also made.This investigation intends to discover the freshmen's beliefs about language learning in general,and help them hold right and useful beliefs so as to ultimately enhance their English language proficiency.
