PAM(Pluggable Authentication Module) is a kind of flexible and credible service authentication mechanism.The paper analyses the main composition and basic structure of PAM mechanism in Linux system,probes into the service authentication process of PAM mechanism in Linux system,and also provides basic methods for modifying and controlling service authentication based on concrete examples.
