摘要
文章深入剖析了伦佐·皮亚诺在世界文化遗产地瓦莱塔的城市之门重建设计项目,分析其如何将这个中世纪古城散落的城市历史记忆和遗址充分融合,转化为能够抓住时代精神的功能性场所。在项目设计及实施过程中,由于地处于文化遗产地的核心要素区,设计一度备受批判,但建筑师应用材料、形体及技术创新,实现自然、场域与技艺的共生,用本地的语汇发挥当代的幻想,最终实现场域的象征,在典雅的感官营造和精细的都市化实用主义之间实现了平衡。
The article deeply analyzes the reconstruction design project of the City Gate of Valletta in a world cultural heritage site, and analyzes how it integrates the historical memories and sites scattered in the medieval city into the spiritual functional place that can capture the zeitgeist. The design was once highly criticized during the programming and implementation of the project, because it was in the core element area of the cultural heritage site. However the architect applied materials, forms and technological innovations to realize the symbiosis of nature, field and skill, use the local language vocabulary to display the contemporary fantasy, and finally realize the symbol of the field, in the elegant sense. The balance between building and fine urbanism pragmatism has been achieved.
