Failure Analysis of the Interfaces and Connections of End Fittings for Composite Hollow Core Insulator Used in 500 kV DC Wall Bushing

摘要 2016年和2017年南方电网公司牛从直流工程牛寨换流站和从西换流站相继发生2起500 kV直流穿墙套管SF6漏气故障。解体发现穿墙套管空心复合绝缘子采用过盈配合工艺,玻璃钢筒和法兰发生相对位移,连接界面失效。通过分析过盈配合设计原理,空心复合绝缘子连接结构制造工艺、表面处理及胶黏剂的选用等方面,发现空心复合绝缘子过盈配合不当、胶黏剂失效、配合表面处理不当等原因,运行中法兰和玻璃钢筒在弯曲负荷和内压力共同作用过下发生相对位移,致使出现界面间隙,最终导致套管漏气。建议提高同类型工艺空心复合绝缘子考核指标,重点考核其长期运行特性。 In 2016 and 2017,two SF6 leakage failures of 500 kV DC wall bushings occurred in Niuzhai and Congxi Converter stations of 500 kV Xiluodu DC transmission project. After the disintegration it is found that the hollow composite insulator of the wall bushing adopts the interference fit process,the relative displacement of the FRP cylinder and the flange,and the connection interface fails. In order to find the cause,the principal of interference fit of the insulator was analyzed first,followed by the analysis of the assembly process,surface treatments and selection of adhesives on the interface. It was found that when the wall bushing operated under the combined effect of bending load and internal pressure,the leakage failure of the hollow core insulator was mainly due to a small safety margin for the interference fit,the unreasonable interface treatment,and the unsuitable adhesive with inappropriate coating technology.Therefore,it is recommended to improve the key performance indicators of the hollow core insulators,especially the long-term operating performance.
