摘要
英语是一种中心语先于补语 (head initial)的语言 ,而德语是一种以中心语后于补语 (head- final)为主要语序标准的语言 ,这是两种语言参数的不同。但他们有共同的原则 (principles)去驱动句子语序形成 ,如
English is a head initial language, while German is mainly head final. Different languages have different parameters. But all languages have common principles such as case theory and theta role theory, which are exemplified in a detailed way in this paper.
