The paper introduces the development of some spaceborne optical remote sensors include: earth - observing reconnaissance cameras,mapping cameras and so on.It points out their characteristics such as ground resolution, spectral band width, swath, their performances and so on.It also specially sumps up the classification of mapping cameras. At last, the paper forecasts the developing tread of optical microsatellite.
