摘要
MPEG标准是MPEG组织制定的满足某一特定要求的多媒体信息标准.其中,MPEG—1标准主要解决多媒体的存储问题;MPEG—2标准主要解决多媒体的传输问题;MPEG—4改进了原有的自然声音压缩标准,并制定了新的合成声音标准,使用户针对应用建立个性化视听系统成为可能;MPEG—7则主要描述视听内容,使用户可以方便地根据内容检索多媒体信息.总之,MPEG标准从致力于数据压缩,到对对象进行编码并使用与对象相关的技术,再到感知编码等,其每一步发展都会给人们的生活带来更多的方便与实惠.
<Abstrcat>MPEG are a group of multimedia information standards established by MPEG organization to meet a certain requirement;among which MPEG-1 mainly deals with storage in multimedia;MPEG-2 with transmission;and MPEG-4 improves the original standard for zipping natural sound and sets up new standards for synthesizing sounds,which makes it possible for clients to build individicalized audiovisual system;still MPEG-7 mainly describes audiovisual content so that clients may easily retrieve multimedia information.In sum each step forward of MPEG,from data zipping to object coding,from objectrelated techniques to sensory coding,render peoplce with more convenience and benifit.
