摘要
罗纳德·恩默瑞克是国际著名东方学家,他在伊朗、印度研究、藏学研究领域享有盛誉,对于阗文、梵文、藏文等众多语言文献做过深邃而广泛的释读和研究,覆盖医学、历史、宗教、语言、文学等领域,其学术著述为中国学界所熟悉。本文根据恩默瑞克著述以及学界相关成果,对其生平及学术做一简要评述,以供学界参考。
Ronald.E.Emmerick is a well-known Orientalist in the world.He is well-known for his study about Iran,India and Tibetology.He has made profound and extensive explanations and studies of documents in many languages such as Khotanese,Sanskrit and Tibetan.Those documents cover medical,historical,religious,linguistic and literary fields.His academic writings are familiar to the Chinese scholars.Based on Enmerrick's writings and academic achievements,this paper makes a brief review on his life and academic career.
