摘要
岭南地区在宋代依然是处罚罪臣的重要贬谪地。在当时人们的眼中,此地不仅路途遥远,而且在经济、文化、环境方面都与中原各异;宋代漕运的发达给谪官的贬途带来一定便利,但并不能完全解除他们迁徙的重负。尽管宋代进入岭南的路途已经大为增多,但谪官仍需经过无数的险山恶水或荒凉之地,这使他们遭遇风险的几率随之上升,甚至付出生命的代价。
Lingnan area was still an important place of exile in the Song Dynasty, not only because of its distance from the Central Plains, but also because of the differences in economy, culture and environment. The development of water transportation made it easier for the relegated officials to travel, but it could not completely relieve their burden of migration. Although the routes to Lingnan increased in number, the relegated officials still had to pass many dangerous hills and rivers, therefore they took risks on their journey, even at the cost of their life.
