摘要
归有光为明代古文大家,又是八股文名家,然而其自身的举业之路并不顺利,史称其"八上春官"而不第。对于归有光既负盛名而又困于场屋数十年的原因,学界历来有着不同的看法和观点,或归咎于科举制度的弊端,或谓其"以古文为时文"所使然,而并没有专注于分析其八股文创作特征和个人性格。事实上,归有光八股文的创作特征和个人性格,与其长期不第有着直接的联系。
Gui Youguang is a master of ancient Chinese prose in Ming Dynasty and a famous expert in the stereotyped writing. However, his own career doesn’t go smoothly. In history, he was named the person who failed to pass the imperial examination for eight times. The reason why he was famous but failed to pass the imperial examinations for many years might lie in the limitations of the imperial examination system , his “ taking ancient style prose as that of the imperial examination” or his ignorance of the stereotyped writing’s characteristics, about which the academic circle have different opinions and views. In fact, there is close relationship between Gui Youguang＇s writing characteristics and personality and his frequent failure in the imperial examination.
