摘要
在陈庆年所治诸学之中,以故乡镇江为对象的乡土之学无疑具有特别的地位和意义。在对兵事实学的关切下,他撰写了记述清代镇江三大战事的兵事史著作;在"由爱乡而爱国"的思想指导下,他考证乡土史地,编纂乡贤年谱;而因着民国时期老辈学人的特殊心境,他又投入地方文献的整理与刊刻之中。以早年所受传统经史之学和近世经世之学为根基,秉承"通经致用"的经世之意,陈庆年的乡土研究具有重要的价值,为镇江乡土研究做出不可磨灭的贡献。
The local study of Zhenjiang to Chen Qingnian is of the greatest importance. Paying attention to the military history, he wrote the articles of the three wars in Zhenjiang in the Qing dynasty. Being guided by the thought of 'love your hometown, love your nation', he studied the history and geography of Zhenjiang, and edited the chronologies of local worthies. And as the older generation in the ROC, he focused on the reorganization and print of the local literature. Based on the traditional learning and pratical-oriented study, Chen Qingnian makes the great contribution to the local study of Zhenjiang that could never be forgotten.
