摘要
《城南旧事》,一部伟大的文学作品,主要讲述了发生在上个世纪北京的几件小事。故事虽然平凡却极具感染力,能够令读者们回忆起童年的美好时光,因而,受到海内外读者的喜爱。本文以齐邦媛、殷张兰熙译本的《城南旧事》中人物刻画描写为例,从奈达的功能对等理论角度出发,深度剖析《城南旧事》中的人物描写翻译,阐述功能对等理论在人物刻画翻译方面的可行性,希望给文学作品中的人物刻画翻译带来一丝启发。
As a classical literature, Memories of Peking: South Side Stories mainly talks about five stories happened in Beijing of last century. The stories may seem to be very common but extremely inspiring, which makes readers deep into memories on their childhood. This paper illustrates the character depictions in Memories of Peking: South Side Stories based on the Functional Equivalence Theory of Eugene Nida to analyze the feasibility that whether the Functional Equivalence is applicable to character depiction translation or not. It is hoped that this paper will bring a little bit Enlightenment to character depiction translation.
